DARK and/or MEDULLATED FIBRE RISK (DMFR) SCHEME
The documents below are provided to enable woolgrowers, brokers, private treaty merchants and other wool industry participants with the Declaration Forms and Explanatory Notes required to make a Dark and/Medullated Fibre Risk (DMFR) or Chemical Use Declaration for their wool or sheep.
Each pair of documents (i.e. a Declaration Form and corresponding Explanatory Notes) is designed to facilitate a DMFR and/or Chemical Use Declaration for differing circumstances.
Background information describing the basis for the DMFR Scheme is provided in the Explanatory Notes as well as in the Introduction to DMFR Brochure. The DMFR rating for a line of Merino fleece and pieces wool may be determined by following the appropriate arrows in the Decision Tree.
