Australian Wool Industries Secretariat Inc. (AWIS) serves as the central administrative and coordinating body for a range of organisations within the Australian wool industry.
AWIS plays a pivotal role in strengthening industry cohesion by:
Providing administrative support to member organisations to ensure efficient and effective operations
Coordinating key industry events, including Wool Week and other significant gatherings that foster collaboration and innovation
Arranging meetings for industry representatives to address and deliberate on critical sector issues
Liaising with stakeholders across the entire wool supply chain to enhance communication and support industry-wide initiatives
Through these activities, AWIS contributes to the continued growth, sustainability, and global competitiveness of the Australian wool industry.
